'Framing is crucial, each cut must be perfect, every small detail measured, I love this part of the process. I tired of viewing great work in renowned galleries around the World, which had been poorly finished by a third party so went out and bought the hand and machine tools used at the top end of the market, then I taught myself how to use them. That was five years ago now and every day when in Mayfair I learn more: there's always ways to make it better at every part of the process'
