I remember descending into Death Valley the night before in a borrowed Land Rover. My brother was with me and we managed a few hours sleep at the Lodge in the Valley before returning to Zabriskie Point pre sunrise. This image has a few minutes then its gone. I used Ilford Delta 100 in a Mamiya 645.

(Upon return to London I found an identical Land Rover Discover V8: bought it and drove it for 9 years: V690 XBW ... if anyone knows its wherabouts).
